Giant Crab Spiders, also called the Huntsman Spider, live in dry habitats, they hunt on tree shrubs and among cactus during the summer and early fall. These spiders can also be seen in homes, and they move with alarming speed. They can move in all directions even backward with equal agility, although this species is not aggressive. Despite its large size, it is capable of climbing vertical surfaces and often seen on high walls or ceilings or dwellings.
