Feed On: Seeds and grains, human garbage.
Nests: Protected areas, away from elements and people; HVAC systems, loading docks, garage ledges, rooftops, under eaves, etc…
Damage: their droppings can carry many diseases, including Pigeon ornithosis, encephalitis, Newcastle Disease, cryptococcosis, toxoplasmosis, and salmonella. The droppings are highly acidic, and can also cause damage to structures over time. Pigeons themselves can also carry dangerous parasites, including fleas, mites, lice, ticks, and other biting insects.
